Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Jeff developed his passion for drawing and art. Inspired by his cousin's artistic talents, and at a very young age, Jeff picked up the pencil and never looked back. Throughout his childhood he was always determined to be a great artist.

Jeff graduated with a Bachelor's of Art with a concentration in advertising design from Columbia College Chicago. Soon after college he began his professional career as a graphic artist at a local newspaper in northwest Indiana where he currently resides. During his 11 year stint as a graphic artist, Jeff honed in on his drawing skills.
He is most passionate with colored pencils but has dabbled with other mediums such as oil & acrylic paints, pastels,
pens & markers, charcoal and digital art. Jeff loves to create portraits of all kinds. His colored pencil technique gives his drawings a more painted feeling. His use of highlights and shadows as well as texture helps to portray the feelings of the 3rd dimension to achieve the sense of realism.
Jeff's main inspiration and motivation is his beautiful daughter (center drawing on home page). "She keeps me on my toes and very busy but is very supportive and proud of the work I do."
